Located in the most beautiful untouched archipelago, off the coast of Venezuela, is the charming Posada La Quigua.
This posada is made in the traditional Venezuelan style, with all teak wood construction, and all the modern applications necessary to enjoy your stay. The rooms are decorated with finds from owner Alessandra's travels around the world.
Three meals a day, and all drinks, are included in your stay, as is wine with dinner. Great emphasis is placed on freshness, variety, and quality, with most of the food (except from the fresh fish) bought in Caracas and flown in by plane. Breakfast consists of fresh juices, breads and pastries, eggs, and whatever is fresh that day. For lunch at the beach, a picnic lunch cooler is packed for you with sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Sometimes Alessandra arranges to have lunch made for the guests at a local fisherman's place. Dinner is always full of choices, depending on what is fresh, but there is always a fish or meat, and a pasta or rice dish, as well as salads and desserts. Meals are shared around the large table, which seats twelve guests.
